First of all, Themesflat thank you for choosing to buy our theme!

In this document, we provide all kinds of good information with all the details you need to use our theme. It is recommended you read it thoroughly to fully leverage the Vitour theme's capabilities. Please also make sure to check out our Video Tutorials as they explain everything covered in here in greater depth. ​We hope you have fun and enjoy working with our theme!

Please, follow the steps below to install Theme.

Install by WordPress Theme Manager

This is probably the simplest way for most users. Here are steps you need to take:

1. Step 1 - Login to your WordPress Dashboard.



2. Step 2 - Go to Appearance > Themes. And then click Add new button, located at the top of the screen or Add new theme (see screenshots below).



3. Step 3 - Click on Upload button at the top of the screen.



4. Step 4 - Next, Click Choose File button to browse themename.zip file in locate.



5. Step 5 - Click Install button and wait a moment.



Note:
After installing the Main theme, if you want user more child Child theme. Then please continue install child-theme the with the same installation above


6. Step 6 - After done installing, click Activate to publish the theme.



7. Step 7 - After activating the theme a notice should appear on the top of the screen, click on link Begin installing plugins ( See screenshots below ).

The theme requires the following plugin: Elementor, BA Booking, TF Vitour Code, Themesflat Core, and recommends the following plugins: Contact Form 7, One Click Demo Import, 



8. Step 8 - After install plugins, go to Dashboard > Appearance > Install Plugins, check all the plugins you want to activate require for this theme

To start customizing Theme, in the Admin page please go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize

1. Site Information

   To Customize Theme you go to: Dashboard -> Appearance -> Customize -> Site Identity

   • Site Title: You can setup and change your site title

   

   • Tagline: A few words to describe your site

   • Site Icon: Site Icons are what you see in browser tabs, bookmark bars, and within the WordPress mobile apps.

2. Site Display

   To Customize Theme you go to: Dashboard -> Appearance -> Customize -> General

   • Enable Smooth Scroll: Enabled Smooth Scroll or not

   • Enable Preload: Displayed while loading to another page

   

   • Social Media: Where you can add link social

   • Go To Button: Enabled Go To Button or not

To setup Header layout, please navigate to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Header.

In the section Layout & Styles, we provide some options to customize the theme layout and styles.

1. Scheme Color

   To setup Custom Page Title Style layout, please navigate to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Color

   

   With this option, you can change unlimited color for your General: Primary Color, Secondary Color, Accent Color, Background Color, please navigate to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Color > General

   

   With this option, you can change unlimited color for your Header, please navigate to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Color > Header

   

   With this option, you can change unlimited color for your Footer, please navigate to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Color > Footer

   

   To start customizing Background Image, in the Admin page please go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Layout Style

   

   To start customizing Widgets, in the Admin page please go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Widgets

   

1. To edit the default footer, in the Admin page please go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Footer

   You can edit the contents of the Footer here

   

2. Columns Footer

   You can edit the contents of the Columns Footer here

   Go to Dashboard -> Appearance -> Widgets

   

3. Bottom

   You can edit the contents of the Bottom here

TF Plugin

Vitour includes Eight (8) plugins that will need to be installed and activated.

When you install Vitour, you will get a notification message in your WordPress admin telling you of the required and recommended plugins or go to Dashboard -> Plugins section to install the theme required plugins.

Vitour is integrated with BA Book Everything plugin. You can view this plugin here

1. General Settings

   At the beginning you have to configure booking engine from BA Settings menu. Most of the settings can be used with their default values. But some of them you may want to change.

   • Date format – d/m/Y or m/d/Y.
   • Booking object post slug – set the word from your business, like apartment, tour, etc.
   • Booking object singular name, general (plural) name and menu name – to customize the page titles on the dashboard.
   • Select search result page – Create page search result with Elementor ( BA Search Results Element Elementor).
   • Service pages – you could select own pages instead of those installed by the plugin.
   • Checkout pages – the general confirmation mode could be set to Automatically (by default) or Manually (confirm every order from dashboard or e-mail).
   • Confirmation page - you could select own pages instead of those installed by the plugin.
   • My Account page - you could select own pages instead of those installed by the plugin.
   • Terms & Conditions page - you could select own pages instead of those installed by the plugin.
   • Admin page for order confirmation - Admin page for order confirmation
   • Archive Booking: posts per page - number posts per page ( page archive booking).

   BA Book Everything plugin creates nice html notification emails. Add your company logo image, header image, footer and credits text on Emails tab

1. Booking Categories

   The basic post configurations are created as terms in “Categories” taxonomy for use as templates in our booking objects. You should define here booking rule, taxes, additional services, questions & answers, other taxonomies, step by step description and Google map integration. You could create as many categories as you need.

   The plugin requires at least one configured category to be used in the booking object post creation.

   
   

2. Taxonomies

   You could create different custom taxonomies (Features, Amenities, Activities, Destinations, etc.) from “Taxonomies” menu to use with the Categories on the next step. Each taxonomy is created first as a term. Then, after updating the web page, the taxonomy appears in the main menu of the plugin with its name.

   
   

3. Ages

   If you want to set prices based on the age of the customers, you have to add all ages as terms in the Ages taxonomy. Note, that “order” meta field is required. It defines the main age for basic price calculation. With the smallest number will be the main age (usually – adult), others will be sorted by ASC.

   
   

4. Booking Rules

   The booking rules differ depending on the business. For example, you have to set basic booking period on “1 day” for car rental, “1 night” for apartments, or “recurrent custom” for tours.

   Use booking mode option to define what you rent: whole “object” like rooms, apartments or cars, “places” in hostel or “tickets” for tours. Note, that age categories for prices will not used with “object” booking mode.

5. FAQ

   The plugin allows you to add Questions & Answers to your booking object page in a simple way, by creating FAQ posts and selecting them when editing a booking object post.

   
   

6. Services

   In a similar manner you could create additional services to sell them with bookings. Service price could be calculated per Booking, per Person, per Day, per Night, per Person/day or per Person/night. This can be one common price for all ages or a different price by age.

3. Schedule section

   The Availability Calendar is one of the main part of booking engine. You can find the Availability Calendar settings in “Basic settings” section of each booking object. They are:

   • Available from Date, Available to Date – they determine the main date range in which the object is available for reservation (required)
   • Cyclic availability: start after every N days – useful for cruises and similar businesses, where your object is available for booking in N days from the previous available date (leave blank or 0 to skip this option)
   • Cyclic availability: available N days after start – if previous field value > 1 the object will be available for booking next N days after new cycle started including day of the start (for cruises this value usually will be 1)
   • Date to exclude – excludes date from the Availability calendar. You can specify any number of dates here (optional)
   • Maximum number of Guests – should be 1 or greater (required)
   • Number of items – number of the same rooms, cars, etc. (optional)
   

   For tours, the additional “Schedule section” is shown. You have to specify Duration of your event here and add available times for booking to each day of the week. Note, that you need to click “Save schedule” button in this section to apply your changes.

   The main Availability Calendar settings could be partially overwritten by rates in “Prices” section. Since every rate has “Start days” option you can exclude, for example, Monday from “Start days” in all rates, and the booking object will not available for booking on all Mondays.

   
   

4. Prices & Rate

   Rates and prices system is easy to use and incredibly flexible in adjusting any price variations based on seasons (dates), week days (weekend rates, etc.), number of the guests or/and number of the days/nights.
